Now there's a Dale Winling if I've ever seen one! Boy howdy. The Dale Winling is a many-splendored thing. Like me, he worked at the Western Herald (He worked for the Opinion section). He was the first to ask me for an autograph! Aww! He was also involved in like, a gajillion WMU student organizations from what I can discern from Google searches. I say these things in the past tense because he's moved on to the University of Michigan to get his PhD.

Also of note, he went to the same high school as me. Gull something or other... I'll have to get back to you on that one. Furthermore, he also participated in Cross Country at said high school, just like I did... Just at a much higher rate of speed. I don't mean to brag, but I could on occasion outrun SOME of the slower girls. He also attended the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center (like my brother and cousin), which recently sent me another rejection letter just for old time's sake. That was thoughtful AND fictional. Double duty!
