This is Lauren. I had some actual pictures of her, but she said she didn't like those and asked me to draw a cartoon of her instead. So I drew this one HEAVILY based on one of those actual photos. And I threw in some Batman and sharks, 'cause Lauren be liking her some sharks and some Batman.

I first met Lauren due to the Western Film Society, which she joined in late '04, I think. I'm the president of the thing, so that's why I was there. Lauren proved to be way cool, and has become a good buddy of everybody in the time since then.

When she went to Prague for a Poetry workshop, Lauren brought me back a shirt that says "Czech Me Out!" How cool is that?? Pretty dang, that's how cool!
